“A company looking to establish itself in the Media Park will be seduced by this eco-system that unites the most specialised competences.”
‘The Media Park offers real potential for our activities by concentrating the audiovisual professions on a single site.
For example, Films du Soleil supplies the exterior location film crew for the series “Plus Belle la Vie” on France 3 and the mobile camera for filming on set. The proximity of the three blocks of the Media Park also builds bridges between the common activities. Although we are established in block 2, we are situated next to block 1, which houses the lnstitut National de l’Audiovisuel INA), which entrusts us with the digital archiving of 16mm film. These exchanges simply happen and are destined to intensify with time as new companies establish themselves on the site.
I believe that such a place can legitimately aspire to become a true alternative to Paris in cinematographic creation and production. It also guarantees a modern approach and the innovation of technical facilities. A company with entrepreneurial spirit will find a source of creativity at the Media Park, stimulated by the pleasures of life in the South of France. It will save on rent, which is lower than in Paris, and it will innovate, because the current climate is energetic and determined.
From now on, our role will be to welcome all talents, to encourage them and to help them in their creativeprocess. We will soon have an auditorium worthy of the
name, and we are working on establishing two or three editing rooms. The technical side of the site is essential for professionals like us, but also for developing our
relationship with the countries in the Mediterranean area.
Marseille is a creative city. The Media Park will enable it to express and export its talents better.’
