The future of the Internet is largely local. The success of Cityvox, the number one French online city guide now attracting over two million visitors per month, demonstrates the need to share information about daily local life. We offer a network of city guides created entirely by the 75,000 participating Internet users who exchange good ideas, addresses, favourites, tips and so on. Our economic model is identical to that of the free press and we derive our resources from service providers and partners: hotel reservations, restaurants, dating, classified ads, etc.

We created Cityvox in 1999 and have been located in Marseille since 2002. There are two essential reasons for this choice: quality of life and cost.

Since our move here we have all gained in terms of peace and quiet; moreover a travelling time of 3 hours
between Marseille and Paris enables us to go there and back in a day, which was the deciding factor in our choice. But the Media Park project as a whole, its optimum technical capacity and its global costs, which are 15 to 20% lower than in Paris, were also essential in our decision-making.

Today, we can only congratulate ourselves with our move to the Media Park: the year 2007 has had an excellent start and we are working on new projects, the most important of which is the launch of services that make life easier.

The dynamic climate of local industry, low costs, ease of access to Paris and a superior quality of life…

The circumstances are perfect and the future looks bright!
