Media park

Since its creation in 2004, the 23,000 m2 the Media Park has become the place to be for leaders in the image, sound and multimedia industries.

Every day for two years the Marseille Studios, built and managed by Groupe TSF, Groupe Image and Les Films du Soleil, have seen the filming of the soap opera “Plus Belle la Vie”, produced by France 3 and TelFrance.

A local 24-hour television broadcaster, La Chaîne Marseille (LCM), has also chosen to house its stages, journalists and technicians in the Media Park. Furthermore, the surrounding professional associations (Cinéma au Soleil, MedMultimed…) and support structures aimed at newly-established and developing businesses (Incubateur Multimédia, Marseille Innovation…), have helped generate the perfect conditions for the installation and growth of over thirty companies, including: Cityvox, Mobile Distillery, TSF, Kezia, Néocom Multimédia, Mail Club, Voxinzebox, Euro Rscg Compagnie 360. In two years, these firms have generated over 600 new jobs.

The site is developing into a point of convergence between content and technologies, a meeting place for creators and design engineers. Besides the dedicated areas, facilities and tools which it provides for industry professionals, the Belle de Mai Media Park has become the meeting point and shining star of a common interest community which brings together startups and large international groups, as well as designers, developers and distributors of products, services and solutions.

By promoting the visibility and accessibility of a skills base developed locally throughout a complete value chain, it plays an essential role as an innovation accelerator.
